ACTECO, Productos y Servicios S.L. is a company dedicated to environmental consulting, the management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste and the recycling of plastic materials. Its activity began in Alcoy (Alicante) in 1994 and is mainly based on the recycling of plastic material. It currently encompasses a set of plants that provide different recycling solutions, waste management and environmental advice.
Acteco’s commercial organization is structured in 2 divisions: waste management and plastic recycling.
The waste management division is divided by plants, dedicated to purchase and sale of all types of waste, both plastic and non-plastic. The market of this division is mainly national, specifically 95% compared to 5% international.
The recycled plastics division has as sales products different recycled plastic materials (PS, ABS, PE, PP, among others). Its market is mostly international (65%) compared to the national (35%). Acteco has as customers large manufacturers such as DANONE among others, but currently collaborates with REPSOL in the recycling of polyolefins and in the manufacture of compounding.
